2022 Annual General Meeting
The Western Washington Amateur Relay Association is proposing to increase
the number of repeater channels in the 2m band by changing the band-plan
from a 20kHz raster to 12.5kHz and reducing deviation and band-width.
Similar plans will be made for the 70cm band. This is a multi-year process
and we should study the impact on our repeaters in south-western B.C. Below
is their document describing their proposal in detail. The video is the
presentation made to the BCARCC AGM by the Chair of WWARA, Kenny Richards
KU7M, and by the WWARA 2m Coordinator, Steve Van Wambeck N9VM. We urge
B.C. hams to view the documents in preparation for further discussion.
